Our Story
Locally owned, H.E.M.E. has been providing the Bowen Basin with award-winning engineering solutions for the mining, civil and agricultural Industries. We have large machining, heavy metal fabrication, sandblasting, precision machining, painting and CNC plasma cutter facilities to support the services we provide to our clients. We currently employ 29 local professionals.

Over the years our clients have relied on us for rapid turnaround times and know us for being a "one-stop shop" for all of their fabrication and repairs. We have undertaken many major projects with leading resource organisations within the Bowen Basin and are a preferred supplier.
We are also committed to lowering our impact on the environment by complying with regulations and minimising our pollutants and waste.
In 2013, 2015 and 2017, HEME was awarded both the AusIndustry Manufacturer of the Year and CHDC’s Business of the Year. We also became an inaugural inductee into the Hall of Fame in 2017.
